Attention ALL students:  A wonderful event of unification is coming to NRHS on November 16!  This event is called Challenge Day! Let me take you there, if I may...Imagine enemies finding common ground and making peace; friends healing past hurts and making amends; people igniting their passion for service and leadership; adults and youth joining hands to create a world where everyone feels safe, loved and celebrated!  This is the work of the heart.  This is the work of Challenge Day and the Be the Change Movement here at NRHS.

Today, invitations and permission slips will be delivered to chosen students.  This method is done to create a broad cross-section of students from all walks of life and all backgrounds.  Of those, the first 100 students to sign up for Challenge Day and return their permission slips will be on the list to participate.  There will be a backup list for those who wish to be put on it.

Teachers and community members and parents will also be invited to join this all-day event for students and adults in the gymnasium from 8:00 a.m. to 2:52 p.m. on November 16.  As your permission slip states, you must bring a bag lunch.  Permission slips must be returned by November 4 and no student without a permission slip will be allowed to participate on the day of the event.  So...please get these in as soon as possible after their distribution this week.
